Good God, Jimbo, look at yourself. When people put forth totally decent and logical reasons to be skeptical of Trump, you call them "haters."

That kind of thinking ain't gonna make America great again, dear. It's going to make America worse.

The fact is that while Trump's on-the-ground conservative creds are extremely weak, and his Democrat street creds are very strong if you go back six to 20 years. Why don't you name me a Republican politician who has donated tens of thousands of dollars within the past six years to DEMOCRAT candidates, for whom you are happy to vote?

I guess my pointing out that Trump (seeing as how you are excited at the prospect of voting for him) is certainly one, makes me a "hater."

And if you think so, you're quite wrong, very much in error. I love Trump, I love his American success, and I love his true-blue patriotism.

I'll tell you what I hate. I hate that American conservatives allow themselves to be bamboozled so often (I was one for decades, but wised up in 2012) into voting for functional Democrats registered as Republicans. Trump talks a good game -- but does he walk the walk? You are depending a lot on blind faith.

I once upon a time had a lot of blind faith in W, too. It was wrongly placed and very likely it is as wrongly placed in Trump.

If you think my saying so is "hating" Trump, you need to rethink your vocabulary.

He is and has always been about big government solutions in service of big money interests. He will grow the government exponentially, which is as far from conservatism as you can get.

I heard a sound bite on the Radio today where Trump did mention Clinton when commenting on the failures leading up to 9/11. Could have been from the same Interview, but I wasn’t paying attention as to where he said it.

Let me try and clarify it for you. "Him" refers to Jeb Bush, "his damned family" refers to Jeb Bush's damned family. I never said you disparaged Trump's family, I said that you are attacking Trump for speaking the truth about Jeb Bush and his damned family.

I don't know why you would waste your time trying to decipher my posting history when you seem unable to decipher even a single post.

I don’t disagree that some of them entered under Clinton. My question is: what did GWB do to tighten immigration controls and/or improve our monitoring capabilities to keep tabs on people coming into this country? To be sure, any president is going to inherit some problems from his predecessor. The question is, having an awareness of potential threats, what exactly did he do about it?

Anyone who tries to improve things deserves credit for the effort and for assuming responsibility for fixing problems. But when you don’t do anything about them you’ve got to accept some of the blame when something goes wrong.

By the way, where has George W. Bush been for the last six years? His successor is dismantling this country. It would be nice to hear him defend the Republic, our greatness, and our freedoms from time to time.

Before the second plane hit, when some folks were speculating it all might be an accident, the folks I work with and I agreed it might very well be Osama Bin Laden. That was our immediate thought.

When the second plane hit, we had no doubt. I remember that distinctly.

I say that because it is the truth; nothing to do with Trump.

Maybe what I got wrong was saying mildly well informed people knew something was going to happen. Maybe a person had to be more than mildly well informed.
