Actually, less than that. Movies were about one dollar a ticket and popcorn about 50 cents. Micky Ds was a 15 cent burger, 10 cent fries, and 10 cent coke. Unless of course your date was a glutton.
I remember taking Linda Lu uh..... Elke Sommer to a dinner at Mickey Ds and then the movie. Yeah, Elke Sommer...a great looker but ate like a horse. I'm glad I ditched her for a better looking woman. Yeah...
The one closest to me has two speakers with two lines merging at the pay window. I love the big breakfasts and the sausage. I love the scrambled eggs. I think they changed the sausage to beef but I'm crazy about whatever they spice it up with and it's my fav sausage.
I like their fish sandwiches, maybe eat a half order of ff'ries. Sometimes I drench them with my own ketchup.
I was disappointed in the all-day breakfasts because it's mcmuffin, and I only like the sausage and egg biscuits, but English muffins are packaged whereas the biscuits they make fresh and probably wouldn't be feasible to make them all day plus the muffins must be more popular.
And I still drink coke. Any size for a dollar. Haven't had the twisty cones for awhile.
They are close which is why I go there often and could/should get a salad. I will really be sad if they close and wonder who would rent the buildings, if anyone.
“I actually recall those 15c McD’s hamburgers in the early 60’s. You could take your girl to the movies and McDonald’s afterwards for five bucks.”
OK, I’ll bite (ha!)
How long did you have to work to make those five bucks?
And the sign in front that said "XXX Million Served", with the XXX in lights that were updated.
