Most STEM graduates in America do not work in STEM fields as they are being under bid by cheap foreign H1B visa holders. When a visa holder comes into the country, he brings his wife, even if she is generally his first cousin who he married as a convenience, his children his parents and in laws.
An H1B holder bought the house two doors down from me. His single story two bedroom house is like a clown car with wife, children dad, mom in laws cousins and half his home town in Nepal living in it.
