It depends on what Dan’s definition of “truth” is.

I have no idea how he may define the word, but he writes it Truth.

Rather and Redford. Just can’t stop hating, making up lies to justify their pathologies.

"What's the frequency Kenneth?"

I got one word for Rather and Mapes: Buckhead.

5.56mm

“One, did former President Bush when in his troubled youth, did he use his father’s influence to get into the Air National Guard as a way of avoiding Vietnam? That’s a fact.

Actually, Dan, that's NOT a "fact" - it is a question. And it is a question to which you do not know the answer since even you, the great "Gunga Dan", cannot know what is/was in another person's heart and mind.

Lying was what launched Dan’s career, back in November of 1963.

He figured why tell the truth, when lies are so rewarding?

Until, of course, 2004 and the humiliation of a Microsoft Word document (that anybody and his mother could produce) exactly matching the spacing and typeface of a supposedly 1970s era typewritten document came along?

Does everybody know that the Democrats were so in bed with Dan that they had a DNC website update based on Dan’s aborted story, BEFORE the story was broadcast? It was up for a few hours. I have a screenshot of it at home.

“Still on the wrong frequency, Dan.
No one is buying what you are selling.
Go gently into that good night—or get yer azz kicked—your choice.”

“What’s the frequency, Kenneth?” is your Benzedrine, uh-huh
I was brain-dead, locked out, numb, not up to speed
I thought I’d pegged you an idiot’s dream
Tunnel vision from the outsider’s screen
I never understood the frequency, uh-huh
You wore our expectations like an armored suit, uh-huh

That was proven in the ‘92 campaign with the twin lies of “Worst economy in 50 years” and “The candidate’s character doesn’t matter”.

I read on another thread where this movie is tanking.

This does not surprise me. If the American people are tired of hearing about Hillary's "damn emails," what makes the libs think they're interested in what a President who has been out of office for 7 years may or may not have done 30 years before he assumed the Presidency?

Even if the story was true, and plainly it is NOT, I still don't think people would care.

Ahh, but the document font, that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that the Bush national guard memo did exist, and I'd have produced that document if CBS hadn't of pulled me out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow reporters ...

Absolutely true. Many boys thought they were being turned into cannon fodder and cannon fodder alone. Bush did what thousands of kids did - an honorable choice in my opinion. I honor and salute our vets of that war including the National Guard.

Wasn’t the Air National Guard a pool from which many pilots were sent to Viet Nam?

Bush won’t sue Rather because there is an element of truth. To get into the Air Guard in those times, and to get a pilot’s slot to boot, when let’s face it, Bush was a “D” student who needed tutors, takes major “PULL”. Whether he ever showed up for UTA’s, or showed up drunk, as was claimed, and couldn’t perform...who knows. Or whomever knows, isn’t telling.

Yes, but they collect their checks, when the parade is over.
