POSTULATE 1: “There has always been and there will always be people, particularly the young, that seek to set themselves apart from the culture. (i.e.: counter culture)”

POSTULATE 2: “We have no culture. => It’s gone!”

Whereas, in the last 50 years counter culture may have been typified anything from music...to art...to leather jackets...to rock t-shirts...to long hair (guys)...to smoking pot. All relatively harmless. But...this no longer will suffice. That was countering what could be identified as “a culture”.

Referencing postulate 2, there is no culture!

But...still the impulse toward being counter culture remains.

So, what has counter culture become? => It’s become personally destructive!

It’s become:

No boundaries social media.
YouTube “Reaction” videos.
Sentimental one-ups-men ship.
20/30 somethings obsessed with video gaming.
Hard liquor resurgence.
Heroine.
Bolts thru your nose.
Washers in your ears.
Women with sleeve tattoos.
(No music.)
(No art.)
