DENVER (CBS4) – Peyton Manning is showing his support for one of the Republican presidential candidates.

The latest campaign filings show Manning contributed $2,700 to Jeb Bush’s campaign. That amount is the maximum an individual can donate to any campaign committee.

Manning’s brother Eli already donated the same total to the Bush campaign earlier this year.

My prediction, living in Colorado just west of Denver. Peyton looses. Releasing Tebow puts Denver in the toilet forever. Evil looses.

You may be right. Elway is slimy. They were slobbering all over getting Manning so bad they kicked Tebow out the door. And this was after Elway himself said that Tebow earned the right to be the starter. Denver is hampered by probably the weakest division in the NFL. Denver tears it up during the season only to lose in the playoffs when they are up against the toughest teams in the NFL.

Payton Manning is getting older, and the opposing team's defenses are only going to get better.
