Not that at all.
People are looking at Trump going out there and fighting the fight, and taking the risks. Even Carson has done his share.
Then they see Cruz virtually out of arena. Letting these guys take the hits, make the big moves, and push the narrative.
In the end Cruz supporters are growing a bit impatient, and want to back the person that is doing the grunt work, not to kick him to the crub.
I think Cruz seems to think(?) Trump is a novelty that is just holding his seat for him. He cannot assume this just because he ranks higher on a most conservative check list.
I don’t agree, Cruz was advising House freedom caucus on dumping Boner. Cruz was lectured by Paul that he was so hated for going against Turkey Neck McConnell he couldn’t get anyone to bring up his bills for debate.
This proves Cruz is paying a big price for trying to keep his promisses that got him elected.
Cruz has all the spine in a spineless Rino controlled Senate.
I am not a Cruz supporter, and I don't agree with him on everything, but he's actually the ONLY candidate who has actually done any work promoting conservatism the last four months. He has actually made statements trying to impact what is going on in Congress. And he did an interview which could have changed the debate about immigration, but it was drowned out by Trump. Trump has not advanced conservatism one inch, he's only advanced his own brand and the media's ratings. Nothing he has done has helped conservatism at all.
But when he goes back to promoting amnesty, we may find out that their is no anti-amnesty movement left, because Trump swallowed it whole. I'm starting to worry this summer was the death knell for U.S. citizenship.
.
Cruz has done all of the important “grunt work.”
All of the conservative ideas in the campaign came from Cruz.
Neither Trump, nor Carson have the slightest idea what the issues and realities of this campaign are.
Cruz has taken on the power structure single-handedly.
