We should be hoping their advisers are urging them to go `full speed ahead’ on gun confiscation. Every confused `Jim Webb liberal’ and `Paul Ryan conservative’ squish will be on board with us.
{Caveat: Bearing in mind our continuing offer to tyrants foreign and domestic: `Come and get them if you can’.}
That is what dictators usually do. Why should these two be any different?
Unless a Federal law is passed requiring registration of all firearms AND there is 100% compliance by every gun owner, Australian-style confiscation will not happen,
UNLESS
Government agents force their way into every single home just randomly searching for weapons, like the out-of-control NOPD did in the aftermath of Katrina.
That way lies insurrection, chaos, bloodshed and death.
