In her most dramatic speech to date about climate change, National Security Advisor Susan Rice suggests climate change was partially responsible for the conflict in Syria and represents a looming threat to the entire world.
“In the years prior to civil war breaking out in Syria, that country also experienced its worst drought on record,” she said during a political speech at Stanford University. “Farming families moved en masse into urban centers, increasing political unrest and further priming the country for conflict.”

No one could find WMDs in Iraq because of climate change.
It was climate change that made us think that
- the tons of yellowcake uranium wasn’t WMDs
- the two part nerve agents were insecticide
- that “old” WMDs didn’t count as WMDs
It was the video that caused the climate change that caused the draught that caused the conflict.

The usual Marxist suspects are coming out of the woodwork hard to beat the climate change drum. Me thinks they are starting to see it slip away a bit as reputable Scientist are starting to grow a pair and speak their mind on the lies by the likes of Gore, Odunga, Rice and Comrade Bernie.

With this administration, it’s idiotic ideologues - or ideological idiots - from top to bottom. I can’t wait for the day they leave. Of course most of them will just move into cushy sinecures in academia or the philanthropic foundations and continue to spout their nonsense.
The fact that she said something that stupid is one thing. More bothersome are those equally as stupid that believe it, the same crew that voted obama his second term. There’s lots of ‘em.
And the lib department is just full of people like Rice. Hank Johnson worrying about Guam tipping over, Marie Harf thinking terrorists just need jobs, and Jeb Bush campaigning in Spanish.
