We have the same problem out here in Washington. State law mandates full funding but the legislature continuously fails to do it. Now the state supreme court is involved. I wonder if any state is actually fully funding their schools? You wouldn’t know it by the product they turn out.

If the priority was education and not stealing the public’s money, they’d turn out far better. Benefits account for nearly half of most school budgets now. There’s plenty of money to operate every school, buy every child what they need to handle school, but instead it is all going into the pockets of teachers and administrators - truthfully, more of it will go into the pockets of retirees this year than active employees. It is unsustainable.

“Full funding for schools” is a political mantra everywhere for more spending and higher taxes.

Let the courts get involved to force legislatures to hike taxes, its already happened in some places....then people will really be angry about the black robed tyranny.

The people need to resist the spending on things like Common Core like Patton told the soldiers to resist the Nazis.
