I’m told, by those who were closer to the 2012 disappearance, that when having a psychotic episode Johnson thought he was a particular machete-carrying movie character who lived in the woods. When found in 2012, he was in a wooded area. Yesterday’s attack was in a wooded area along White Rock creek.
There is just no bright spot in this story, none at all. Johnson must never be allowed to walk free again. I am sure that his family is both grieved and relieved that he no longer poses a threat to them or to others.
