Trump channels Nixon’s “Silent Majority” theme and Reagan’s theme of America’s greatness. Both themes are themes of electability.
I don’t support Trump, but can see why he runs strong in less conservative states on those themes.

He was on Morning Joe - embarrassing himself with 3rd grade logic - ranting on about how Republicans are angry. Maybe he should look at the audiences showing up for Trump and Carson... they sure don’t look angry to me...
