Taking sides with some Muslims against other Muslims, none of whom like us or have our interests in mind at all.
I don’t see why we need to do that.
Several reasons and all of them bad.
The lie was put out by Bush and has since been backed by both parties that Islam id a religion of peace. A lot of policy domestically and internationally, laws passed etc. have been based on that lie.
We now, thanks to stupidly entangling ourselves against the founders clear admonishments, have to find some muslims to ‘prove’ it. Because if we cannot hang our hat on one group of them or another, someone will have to eventually be held to account for it. Namely all the pols that pushed it to the detrement of the planet.
