It’s just semantics. Either way, it’s a “homicide” which is just latin for the killing of a human being. The only thing which remains to be seen is whether or not it’s considered lawful or unlawful. Based on the story, I’m leaning toward lawful.

I might agree with you on the meaning in latin, but in legal terms, the term “homicide” isn’t semantic at all, it is extremely specific, and in a bad way.

I live in a blue state and have concealed carry, and if, God forbid, I have to ever use deadly force, I better have my ducks in a row.

Because they will try to screw you legally.
