It's plain as day. Look at Trump's insurgence, begun with an anti-immigration rant that put the Donald into the pole position, and compare that to Jeb Bush's 4% approval based on heavily pro-amnesty positions. Illegal immigration weighs heavy on the economy, jobs, and national security, too.
And don't forget the integrity of our electoral system, crime, welfare, social programs, Obamacare. It's inconvenient for the establishments of both parties, and the Chamber and thus ignored
"It's the immigration,stupid."
Back to our Friday Reagan Dinner fund raiser in the Keys. One of the auction items we had was a green baseball cap from the Trump people that had "Make America Great again stitched into it.
Bids opened at $100. The ten dollar hat finally sold for $500. Only because we stopped the bidding so Carlos could give his speech! He had to go back to Miami.
Trump has not peaked! Every time his name was mentioned during the dinner a huge applause resounded at the dinner. He's just getting started, IMHO.
