Glenn Beck opted not to respond to Donald Trump’s Twitter assault on him Thursday, only offering up eight words when asked about the incident: “It is beneath me to respond to this.”
Trump had seemingly lashed out at the radio talk show host for telling The New York Times that the billionaire is a mere “schoolyard bully” who “does not reflect any of the values and principles that I see from Americans on both sides.”
In a pair of tweets, Trump called Beck “wacky” and a “real nut job.”
The billionaire also asserted that Beck, one of the most listened to radio hosts in the country, has “become irrelevant.”
Beck has been one of the leading conservative voices to go after Trump. In August, he publicly asked Fox News host Sean Hannity, radio host Rush Limbaugh and conservative author Ann Coulter how they could support the real estate tycoon’s candidacy for president.
I have appreciated Beck, but he became obsessed with Trump and would not/will not get off it. He and his giggling buddies endlessly cracked on Trump and on anyone who would support him including the high percentage of R votes (20-30%) who say they would vote for him. Beck has become (further) unhinged. Such conduct is not always rewarded, nor should it be.
Glen is a pitiful man and it’s startling to realize that people still listen to his show.
I listen to conservative talk shows every day. I stopped listening to Beck some time ago because he kept going off the deep end too often. To be honest, I don’t miss him. I would listen to him again but every time I try he just sounds more radical. Beck seems to be the reincarnation of Art Bell.

Beck started this long ago, and has been relentlessly attacking Trump.
It’s beneath Beck to respond to this? What a filthy liar! He HAS BEEN, all along!
