Genesis 18:23–25
23 Then Abraham drew near and said, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, lso that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! mShall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”
26 And the Lord said, “If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
Surely there are more than 50 righteous in the United States? Yes, there are still MILLIONS.
We all need to start praying for not the destruction of America, but her redemption from the wicked.
I also think the Bible is clear that God never brings destruction without giving repeated warnings.
There were a great amount of believers in Jesus Christ in Europe when the Black Plague came, and millions suffered and died.
This could be interpreted as a paradox. However, my own personal opinion is that we will have tribulation in this life, but He is with us.
"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
John 16:33
My own personal opinion is that before things get really, really bad, God will rapture out his bride.
