Like or Hate, Nancy Pelosi is a prime example of an “Effective” house speaker.
She kept and funded the radicals, got rid of any trace of the “Conservative” Democrats, and rammed through the entire Democrat Agenda, whilemanaging the press, attacking Repub positions.
Granted, she did it all with the cooperation of an incredibly biased media, but it doesn’t change the fact that if she wanted it done, it got done, even if she had to threaten to get American Soldiers in harm’s way killed.

Exactly right about Pelosi. It didn’t hurt that she could keep any potential bouts of uncontrollable weeping under control, either.
