Donald Trump, House Speaker Needs To Be Tougher

Donald Trump said Friday he does not want to get overly involved in the ongoing battle for the House Speaker’s seat, but he does believe a “very much tougher voice” is needed.

“There’s so many things the Republicans could do if they knew how to negotiate and had some unity,” Mr. Trump said in a TV interview Friday. “So many times you’ll have people out there but they have no backing from the rest of the party.”

Mr. Trump did not have any names he wanted to suggest Friday to replace current House Speaker John Boehner, who announced his resignation last month.

“There seems to be a little bit of unification around Paul Ryan, who is a good guy but I would say that I have 4 or 5 people that I would have in mind that are tough people that a lot of people would not be thinking of,” Donald Trump said. “I don’t think they would have much of a chance but I think they would do a good job.” But he said he does not see the chaos in the House as a huge issue for the GOP presidential race.

“I think that we are who we are, we are out campaigning. There are now 16 of us left. That’s a lot of people with one left and another one is going to be leaving pretty soon from what I hear and probably a lot will be leaving soon but we’re a little bit on our own. We are in our own orbit.”

He thinks that Sen. Rand Paul (KY) will be out of the race soon.

“I think he has to go back to the people of Kentucky,” he said. “I think they’re not being treated fairly by him and he’s going to have to do one thing or the other. I don’t think it’s fair to the people of Kentucky. A great state and great people. I don’t think it’s fair to them.”

But Donald Trump said he does know one thing for sure, the person leaving the race is not  him.

“I’m never getting out,” he said.

All I know is if I was in charge I would clean house.
all the Rats and moles gone.
Some good people would get cleared out too but they can come back.

It is essential to clear out the rats and moles on day one

Donald has a tight team

Ctez does too and Cruz is taking notes

In all things Legal I give him props...

I prayed a long time this morning about all of the discord this is causing and it boils down to not just being a finder, a troubleshooter, a righter of past wrongs...

It is what leadership is about, forward and to where... This country is not unified at the moment by much except locality and the Core American Spirit.
Holding our breath as we never have before, or since say 1812 and Ft. McHenry where the Brits wanted the US back, and damned near got it...

But a misfit dedicated General (not the best human being but) led a rag tag bunch of Americans in waiting and swept them from the field Leadership requires experience in Creating, Building, caring for others by giving them opportunity to follow their star, not the one you love... Ted for Attorney General or possibly VP Semper Fidelis!

Okay...then don’t be so hard on Trump for not saying who he thinks should be Speaker. You just made my point :)

Like Trump just said, at a presser at his GA rally, it’s not his place to say...it’s up to the folks who will be voting on this....but, he would like to see someone strong, as Speaker.

He also said, earlier today...because “Republicans never win”....and, he’s right.

I think it will be the one who does not get distracted early.
The one who hones their points and hammers them in the last hour.

Keep yer power dry

Mark Meadows is the one who forced it, plus the Rep who said, anybody with embarrassing skeletons in the closet, get out now.

I am not being hard on the Donald.
I only ask him to back his words and not use weasel words.
He is a very capable charlatan as is Obama

Trump is for Trump

That is all I have to say

Agree, and that was the beauty of the Revolution and 1812

We went from Colony to big dog in under 50 years

And it was the Average Joe who stood up and said Hell No

Another average Joe that I feel deserves mention in this line is General Custer, yes ole Yellow Hair (part Indian, it happens) He led a Cavalry Brigade I believe of very raw recruits from Michigan. Their job that day was behind the lines probing for the enemy and protecting the rear...

And that is precisely where Jeb Stuarts Cavalry boys showed up, timed to be the pincers to Picketts charge

On the third day of the Battle of Gettysburg (July 3, 1863) during the disastrous infantry assault nicknamed Pickett’s Charge, there were two cavalry battles: one approximately three miles (5 km) to the east, in the area known today as East Cavalry Field, the other southwest of the [Big] Round Top mountain (sometimes called South Cavalry Field).
The East Cavalry Field fighting was an attempt by Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart’s Confederate cavalry to get into the Federal rear and exploit any success that Pickett’s Charge may have generated. Union cavalry under Brig. Gens. David McM. Gregg and George Armstrong Custer repulsed the Confederate advances.

They stopped em cold, and Jebs boys were the best Lee had...

Definitely Bad ass
