The attack occurred Sunday evening in an apartment complex in the city’s Cedar Riverside neighborhood, also known as “Little Mogadishu” for its high concentration of Somali refugees imported from United Nations refugee camps in Africa.

This is the very same high-rise apartment building that was Mary Richards' (Mary Tyler Moore's) home in the later years of the show, chosen because it was a hip and upscale place to live at the time. Shows you how far things have gone to hell around here.
