Since Oregon was +12 for Obama in 2012, it’s obvious the city population predominates.
And THAT, I guarantee you, was mostly due to the Portland-Eugene connection. The rest of the state is pretty conservative.
It’s the same way in Washington state- King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties control the state, but much of the rest of the state is conservative.
