Like California, and Washington State, the coast line is solid communist and their populations dwarf the people inland - who tend to be conservative.
So, I too hope for a change from blue - but unlikely.

Oregon is only blue because of Portland, Eugene, and any towns on the small coastal strip west of the I-5. Democrats have destroyed eastern Oregon’s logging industry and people have been forced to leave, so population has dwindled.
