I said that back when the Bergdahl thing started and a lib laughed at me. If I’m not mistaken, the Uniform Code of Military Justice states that desertion in a time of war is punishable by execution. Since we lost so many soldiers trying to find this asshole, I would say it’s a no-brainer.
Absolutely right. His initial offense-—desertion in a combat zone-—could have been judged by itself worthy of execution, but magnified by what he told the Taliban and the soldiers killed looking for him, execution should have been mandatory.
The UCM is administered by military people favorable to the POTUSA. Obama planned and knew this and it is why he could foist a traitor and family on the people of the US.
