RE: The use of the word ‘Asian’ stood out to me.

That is a very general word.

Asia as a continent is larger than Europe, Africa, North America and South America.

Asians are Muslims like Pakistanis, Indian Muslims, Malays, Indonesians, Chinese Uighurs, Bangladeshis, Afghanis, etc.

They are also Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Filipinos, Thais, Singaporeans, Mongols, Indians, Vietnamese, Laotians, Cambodians, etc.

Using the term is totally meaningless and does nothing to help identify the assailant.

be careful when link Pakistanis to Indian Muslims....the Hindus of Indian, hate, beyond words the Pakistani Muslims...they may be from the Indian subcontinent, but is where it ends....been there
