Cruz said he doesn’t think Trump will be the nominee. That to me is betrayal. Trump has been great to Cruz but I don’t think he’s going to like this little forecast. I don’t like it.
People, please. When have you ever seen a Presidential candidate, asked by a reporter on the stump, say “oh, I’m not going to win. My opponent is clearly better.”

I think this is the media trying to drive a wedge between two men who seem to mutually respect each other.
If Cruz thinks Trump will be the nominee, then what would be the point of him continuing his campaign?
