If Trump acknowledges this ‘negative’ statement by Cruz, but doesn’t counterattack in the same way he counterattacks everyone else, then Trump and Cruz are in league with one another.

I can see it now. “Cruz says he's going to move past me and all of you will flock to him.” Boos “I say he's wrong.” Cheers. “And I'm going to keep my lead and make America great again.” Cheers. That’ll be devastating to Cruz.
