Isn’t the Meadows resolution still hanging over Boehner’s head? He could also file a “privileged” motion seeking Boehner’s ouster that would go directly to the House floor.

If Boehner is still weeping into his cocktail and hanging on because his buddy McCarthy backed out & by golly he wants to control who his replacement will be, maybe some action should be taken sooner rather than later.

Yes, yes, and yes. I think Meadows may well have to save the day by pulling the rug out from under the Orange One.
