Not to totally dismiss your argument but, as a teacher (HS Math/Science) in Minnesota and an ACT trainer, I can tell you that
kids can't read - or do math - or really think hard.
They think they can because bars are lowered until accreditation can occur.
After all, everyone deserves a trophy, don't they?
