There is a difference between eminent domain and the New London case.
Some eminent domain is understandable if it is for public use like in the building of roads. It should be as limited as humanly possible. What is deplorable is the taking of property from one and giving it to another just to increase tax revenue.
Indeed, but not a difference between the New London case and Donald Trump's view of eminent domain. He is and has been a strong supporter of the decision, and his comments here are quite consistent with the logic of the decision.
