Also, explain the NYT article basically saying that Vera Coking was an idiot.

The amount of money spent on these elections is obscene.
That is a beautiful write up. You should send that to Trump:)
‘Some pigs are more equal-Animal Farm’
A very apt use of the quote.
+1
No, missed that.
Looks like the Cruzers have found their big thing. Eminent domain. LOL
I am more worried about being over run by illegals.
How does the spiritual salvation of a President effect the spiritual salvation of you or anyone else? And I would add: Most, if not all, of our Presidents have not been saved. Even the Founding Fathers had many of deists-- although of the positive Christian kind-- or Unitarians.
“but I vacillate between amusement and disgust watching how some folks here swoon for him and attack anyone who questions him. “
Equally disgusting are the comments who call Trump supporters “bots” and claim they have ‘low IQs’. The condescension thrown towards Trump supporters is juvenile. That’s not debating the positions Trump has taken. That’s just being snotty and arrogant.
Steve Hayes has shown himself to be a GOP-E lap dog, similar to George Will.
I used to agree with him on much of what he said but not recently.
I point to the last 8 years. I believe in the hand of protection by God of our nation. When we lose that we are doomed. I believe we are doomed. You may think otherwise and that is your right.
“His name-calling and great and greatest message is more likely aimed at the low-info part of the conservative base, who are angry and love the pompous persona. Seems condescending to me, but that is beside the point. Its working for him so far.”
Oh the irony!
Explain what? The other holdouts were reasonable (as far as holdouts go), and made out like bandits. Coking was clearly unreasonable (and yes, an idiot). My point is that, as a property owner, she had every right to be unreasonable and an idiot. Her house, and if she wanted to stay there, that’s her right.
On Friday, Charles Payne (a Hero of mine) interviewed Trump.
Tax Plan (you will like Charles questions):

Thanks so much. I will delve into those!
This really bespeaks a lack of faith in God to begin with, since it basically says that it is up to Man to work out his own salvation. But God grants us our leaders, whether good or bad, the same way He grants us salvation: all according to His own good purpose, with full sovereignty.
It becomes tricky when the government has to figure out which constituent to side with. At the link below you can see how the business people gave into Ms. Coking. Take a gander at the pict. She was beyond unreasonable.
That’s right.
A lifelong liberal voices his disdain for property rights and it’s nothing to be ticked off about, because...TRUMP.
By that standard basically every candidate but Trump fails, even Ted Cruz. Cruz screwed us on Fast Track and the Corker bill, not to mention his opposition to the Gang of Eight would have STILL granted backdoor amnesty-- illegals would have been given legal status, and with legal status, citizenship is impossible to avoid despite Cruz's (false) promises to the contrary. Also, Cruz never governed, never owned a business either.
On the other hand, Trump has experience making 10 billion dollars running 500 companies. If you want experience and a track record, that's a good one!
But hey, a lifelong "conservative" can voice his disdain for anti-amnesty and anti-(un)Free Trade policies, and nobody bats an eye.
But bash Trump because the Founding Fathers put this thing called "Eminent domain" into the Constitution and never limited the individual states in what they could or couldn't do with it.
