I don’t believe the Saudis are ready to cut production. I see them in this for the very long term. They still have lots of cash reserves and have been positioning finances to extend this current spending over revenues for far longer.
I don’t believe the Russians, even if they say they will cut, actually would ever intentionally cut production.
The Russkies out of Syria, along with Iran, might just make the Saudi’s an “offer they can’t refuse.” WTF would the US do about it right now?
