I’ll have to research it before commenting.

I have to be super careful because of Sighthound sensitivities to chemicals, not to mention my own issues with them.

For myself, I use a plain old Adams permethrin spray, treat the yard with permethrin and have these little glue/light flea traps and it all works well.

We’ve never had a problem with fleas, but living in New England and in the middle of acres of woods, we’ve got the frost and freeze factor helping us out. It’s ticks that we have to cope with.

It seems that onyx’s issue is fleas rather than ticks.

Those flea traps are the very same I was looking at. Good to know they’re effective.
