No less than Bill Clinton credited the NRA with keeping Al Gore out of the White House.
Like every lobbyist or salesman who ever made a pitch, they know the percentages go up when making the pitch to somebody who’s already bought from them. It’s as simple as that, aka “dancing with the one that brung ya.”
