Maybe you can explain how it makes sense as a metaphor? But I have noticed that Lowery will think up something like that that he thinks is cunning, and then write an entire damn article just to trot it out.
Not trying to pick a fight, he is not my candidate. But I am not opposed to voting for him if he wins it. He is s superb improvement over who is in there now, and also of anyone else the Dems will offer. I do think the writers of the article, after reading it through, are a little too dramatic.
While I like many things about his tax plan, I think it is structurally flawed in a way that might prove fatal long term. We can't risk allowing so high a percentage of people who don't have to pay income taxes. Everyone needs to wear a taxpayer cap, even if it is very modest, so that they have skin in the game.
