Both this kid and the monster in Connecticut had two things in common. They were de facto bastards, raised in a single parent family with no normal male role model present. You will never rid the whole world of guns, regardless of how laudable you may think this is and bad people will always get them. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, we don’t have enough of them, and there were none at either of these two sites. Yes, people with severe mental problems shouldn’t have guns, but the overwhelming number of people with mental problems are not violent people. The problem is in the society itself: lack of moral principles, broken homes, male children growing up with no male role models.
I often ask this gun control wackos what they would do with people like me. I have been trained as a Machinist. I can hold tolerance down to 1/3 of a human hair. You give me a set of blue prints and I can build you darn near any weapon you want. In the Military I had training in IED's. after they get rid of all the guns do they lock people like me in prison?
