We really need to abolish the current education system and start over from scratch. Local control with full parental involvement should be the new goal.
Current educators couldn’t “educate” their way out of a paper bag and the administrators are much worse. They’ve totally ruined education and are fleecing the taxpayers. Only to feather their own nests.
In the very best situation the government schools would promote a lukewarm and generic God. The risk is that the children would learn to be comfortable with lukewarm and generic religiosity.

One way is to get rid of Teacher’s Unions.
We have horrible teachers in some of our schools, and we are not allowed to get rid of them. It’s the same in all the other government offices. Look at the IRS; all those laws broken .. and nobody’s been fired or put in jail .. and our children are suffering the most .. because they have parents who don’t know what’s going on .. and I guess some of them don’t care.
