WACO — Only a few of the people arrested in the May biker shooting outside a Waco restaurant remain under ankle monitoring, and none are still in jail.

Of the 135 people originally ordered to wear GPS ankle monitors, all but 22 have been allowed to remove them, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported Sunday. Their lawyers have reached agreements with prosecutors to modify the conditions of their pre-trial release.

After initially locking up more than 170 people in connection with the May 17 incident outside Twin Peaks restaurant, McLennan County prosecutors have not charged anyone with the shooting deaths of nine people.

As I have stated before, this entire episode has the stench of BATF. Or DEA. Or DHS. All three?
Sheriff & County Attorney?
It just does not have the ring of a small city operation.

Well, if none of the bikers are charged after all this time and all that video, who is responsible for the shootings? Eh?

The guns did it! You know how they are.

Been my take as well. Waco got left holding the bag. Local LE was sitting in their cars when shooting started.

Or it could have been one giant cluster F. with premature or mixed signals initiating the event.

I suppose that you don’t like this one either, since it doesn’t support your position:

In another story, one of the defense attorneys suggests that the DA could probably make out a case against a couple of the dead guys, but not the survivors.

Suppose you tell me what ‘my position’ is.

Well, if I was going to make a wild guess, it would be along the lines that you "Don’t trust this article or draw conclusions from it." Is your position significantly different from that?

Could have been, but dollars to doughnuts if true, you will find BATF hands in the dough.

Which is the entire whole reason for letting the light shine on the whole debacle.

The bikers may or may not be model citizens in another location or time, but the primary focus should be on who pulled the triggers, and why.

There are probably more good cops than bad cops out there, but there are bad cops, and here, bad judges and prosecutors. If they’d only arrested a dozen or so, I might be on the other side of the fence (particularly if they had managed to arrest the right ones), but the misconduct was so outrageous in this case, I don’t see how anyone can ignore the stench.

Why was the BATF even at Waco? Federal Fire Arms laws are a Tax stamp issue.

The BATF are always showing up with their long tables looking for a photo shot, with no federal law being violated.

We the people have lost when cops dressed as soldiers in combat can go into a parking lot of a private business and murder citizens and get away with it because we the people don’t protest.

I’m starting to believe the internet was created so the people can post “protests” without having to really get involved. It makes us feel like we’re standing up to the king.

Why was BATF at the Branch Dravidian compound? Why was the BATF at Randy Weaver’s home in Utah. Why was the BATF smuggling guns to the drug cartels in Mexico?
They have had their dirty fingers in damn near every nefarious government operation against the citizens of this country for the past 40 years at least.
