The fact that Chaffetz was given a committee chairmanship by Boehner shows me where he stands on the political spectrum. I wonder what the Secret Service has on him beyond the fact that he was turned down by them.

I wonder what the Secret Service has on him beyond the fact that he was turned down by them. This is the second time now I've heard this. What does it mean? Did he apply for a Secret Service position and was declined, or applied for protection and was denied?
