All wonderful accomplishments for a political career.
What payroll has he ever had to make? I want the guy/gal who has signed the FRONT of the checks...with a business risk and responsibility background, to turn this country around. Someone who has had the guts to invest/put up HIS OWN capital to start/run a company and who knows what drives the engine of our economy AND our country.
I’ve supported, and continue to support (my) Sen Cruz in the Senate and/or as AG or SCOTUS. His knowledge of our Constitution is brilliant, and has been very conservatively proposed to legislation of our laws.
That whole post 24 pretty much sums it up.
I don't think that was on the Myspace page but rather some dating site he signed up on. And it wasn't "conservative", just Republican.
Some where saying he only did that to attract chicks cause they don't dig loser/slacker democrat pajama boys!
The breach the *refugees* made into the Euro Tunnel was unsettling. I saw the video of them tearing down the fence (zombie style) and read that they’d made it about 15 km into the tunnel (at Calais).
Wonder what measures UK and France will be taking, going forward.
Thank you very much Chiller.
This is the problem with those GOPe types....EVERYTHING is political. They get elected, they get to enjoy the spotlight....and such as morals, goals and good actions become foreign to them.
It couldn’t be, after all, that Gowdy and the Benghazi committee truly believe that a Sec of State left Americans behind to die, while covering it with a big lie.
The ONLY reason any congress critter would embark upon such a query for the truth would be to a political end, so think the GOPe. Thus Gowdy et al were looking to bring down Hillary’s ratings and they did.
Thus thinks Kevin McCarthy and they call it a Freudian slip. Tells me all I need to know about this guy.
I got another take on it, see post 125.
But you’re right, now only is McCarthy “elite-ified”.....he is a bit dumb.
Sounds like we’re discussing Keyser Soze (Kevin Spacey in The Usual Suspects).
Another fine example of how our side can screw up even in a minor way and then have it turned over by the drivebys since we have no media to rely on or we don't know how to use what we have.
..............................
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy commented on Fox News on the Select Committee on Benghazi, suggesting its investigation brought Hillary Clinton's poll numbers down.

Sean Hannity was pushing hard, asking House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy to name some promises his Republicans had actually delivered on. He scoffed when McCarthy said the party would start undoing the Affordable Care Act -- "you have the power of the purse!" He talked over McCarthy when the leader and candidate for Speaker of the House suggested that the party did not need to cut funds for President Obama's "amnesty," because courts had taken care of it. Only halfway into the interview did McCarthy finally catch a break.
"Everybody though Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right?" McCarthy asked. "But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she's untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought."
"I give you credit for that," said Hannity. "I'll give you credit where credit is due."
The interview ran late Tuesday night, giving Hillary Clinton's campaign and allies time to prepare a counterattack. They -- and Democrats, generally -- had always described the May 2014 creation of the Select Committee on Benghazi as a political fishing expedition. All of a sudden, McCarthy was saying so, just to mollify a partisan conservative TV host.
He pointed out to the reporter that Hillary’s polling stats had fallen, implying it was at least partly because of the hearings.
Will do. I will check it out this week.
I’m getting an upgrade on my computer outer so it will run five times faster. Can’t wait.
By all means! You can already tell it’s going to be what Sharyl says and then everyone else.....
No thank-you to Jason Chaffetz.
He said he’s a moderate who would counter the “right-wing.”
He didn’t even say “conservative.” “Right-wing” is a pejorative used by liberals.
I strongly support those who can make a payroll. I've continuously worked for one for 50 years.
That said, name a President who has ever done that, besides George Bush.
Sharyl’s video showed fences going up near the UK.
Where did he say this?
I got the shows still on DVR....what show and to who?
And what do we know about Mccarthy's relations with NC Rep. representative Renee Ellmers ???
Rumors have been circulating for years about an affair between the 2....both whom are married. It's odd there has been no conversation about this, considering the "ethics" disqualifiers that have killed lots of Republican leaders. Maybe dems are saving the smear for if and when he's elected Speaker
