WASHINGTON The already fragmented battlefield in Syria grew even more complicated on Friday, as Russia and Iran expanded their military efforts to defend the beleaguered Syrian government in defiance of President Obama, who predicted that their actions would lead only to a quagmire.
In his first comments since Russia began airstrikes on Syrian targets this week, Mr. Obama said that Moscow was acting not out of strength but out of weakness.

Barry must have consulted with Hairy Reid.
That means it’s working.
The DiC is delusional
Obama cannot find his own social security number
or real birth certificate.
Holy cr@p. What a moron President “JV” Selfie-Stick is.
So? The Russians cannot do worse than the US government and the US State Department who have turned the whole area into a blood soaked mess.
What does team obama think of its new BFF Iran helping out Russia?
Of course, the Russians don’t see Obama failing at anything, right?
Likely he considers Russia a JV team as well.
Barack is telling us that Russians killing al Queada thugs in Syria is bad, and they will get bogged down.
However, if we kill al Qaeeda in Afghanistan in a war going on for 14+ years, that is good.
All part of the Big Plan, they can get functioning nukes from Russia Now, and to hell with buying them from John Kerry and Hillary.
Russia sees Obama failing as the American President
The clown in the White House and his “advisers” are so deluded that they would claim they are winning as the Soviet Army conducted its victory march down Pennsylvania Avenue.
They can if their actions and Obama's bluster pull us into some sort of deeper conflict with each other indirectly.
Flailing, 0bama is.
Well, he certainly is an expert in failure.
Sorry Barry. I don’t see them “failing.” They don’t have a bunch of mini-brain, moron politicians and “lawyers” running their war effort. That’s how you fail.
I honestly think barak hussein obama has an IQ of around 89. Watching him speak is painful. He seems incapable of any kind of clear and coherent fluid speaking ability. He said this about the Syria situation:
This is not some superpower chessboard contest. And anybody who frames it in that way isnt paying very close attention to whats been happening on the chessboard.
Be sure to imagine about 20 ummmmmmms and 15 uhhhhhhhhs between the words..
So it’s not a chessboard but it is a chessboard.
