I am sorry I am in a stupor.

You cannot go onto a national forum and spout complete absurdities as fact and expect not to get called on it.

Your links were superficial at best— and five minutes of follow up would have lead you to pull them.

Your assumptions of where things are in the city were incorrect. Your assumptions of how the city was acting that day were based on newscasts and forum posts and not reality.

Finally, when you were challenged about your failure in critical thinking, you preach at me.

I am not sure where your groupthink comes in for my side. You are the one who sees conspiracies behind every bush—or in every mechanical room. You see smoke and assume fire. You see correlation and assume causation.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes a fire in a mechanical room at an obscure location on a mediocre college campus on a school holiday is just that. If you knew the school, and knew the schedules, and knew how stuff worked in the city....if you knew anything about which you were writing you would understand you are going down a dry hole.

The truth is not always amazing. Most of the time, the truth is just boring.

LOL. I left the JFK library fire, which was nationally reported in real time just as I remembered it — as being linked to the Marathon — by the police — by bystanders — by those who heard an explosion — by the authorities who evacuated the building in a blind of black smoke — left all hope of addressing that behind a few posts back.

LOL, and let's just say that the strange pushback I have had on it -— even your post — why would you care so much about it? Why would you be shutting down my innocent inquiries into the possibility of it with such force? Who cares what I post here about it that much? That in itself is strange. But I left all hope of addressing the JFK library fire and evacuation behind several posts back.

No, I was referring to the lack of critical thinking involved with the Marathon situation or any of these other strange situations -- all with the potential to be staged by motivated individuals -- that allows our chief executive to go after our 2nd Amendment rights. Or, for that matter, any of these strange Uniparty two-steps whereby Obamacare is passed, Planned Parenthood and the selling of dead baby parts is tolerated, Amnesty is shoved down our throats, etc.

It is beyond reasonable to take people at their word — such as those who founded the UN — that there is some agenda that we idiots on the right are not seeing.

Or are you saying we have not been hoaxed by our government?

LOL again. Forget that God Almighty warns us of a time like this... when a one world government, one world economy, one world religion looms its totalitarian head.

(You are a Christian of some understanding, I assume?)

What I am sad about in your posts and others like it is that you are serving up decades old bromides that shuts down critical and creative thinking....

("I'm posting "absurdities as fact" -- my links are “superficial” — you mean Twichy? Or Huffpo? Or local Boston papers? What are you saying? Please tell me you are not saying “the internet is untrustworthy” or only “established news outlets can be trusted”...LOL. Please.)

This type of restrictive thinking, that negates how the truth is something that can be reasoned through by the common man — is a problem.

Because the fruit of it is our situation today. Our Founders said sovereignty of this nation rests in OUR hands; this is not just a right, it is our responsibility to reason this through. That is Jim Robinson's purpose in starting Free Republic.
