President Vladimir Putin showed his power by bombing an IS training camp and HQ near Raqqa.
At least 12 key jihadis were killed in the raids.
The attacks came as IS militants posted a tweet warning Death to Putin: We are coming with a picture of Moscow in flames.
Yesterday Russia said it had conducted 18 sorties on 12 positions held by the IS terrorist group in Syria since Thursday.
The US warned that Russias use of cluster bombs would result in more civilian deaths.
But President Putin put his countrys case to French President Francois Hollande at a meeting in Paris yesterday.
And Russia taunted Britain over the bombing raids in Syria by trolling Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond on Twitter.
Embassy chiefs in London sent him pictures of a warplane firing missiles.

I will not miss ISIS vermin.
While Obama dithers, delays, rationalizes, obfuscates and vacillates Putin is acting decisively and taking it to the vermin.
Doing the job Americans (or at least the Current Regime) won’t.
The time is long past for any constructive action by the US in Syria. Sure, something can still be done, but the first thing is to discard the notion that Bashar al-Assad is going to be deposed anytime soon. Now that the cavalry from Iran is riding into town, it is perhaps too late to save even what remains of Iraq, as a goodly portion of the southern part of that country is simply going to be annexed by Iran.
This puts Iran on the south, the east and now the north of Saudi Arabia, which has a vested interest in assisting other Sunni nations against the incursions of Shi’ite Iraq.
Actions speak louder than words.
Some of that vermin are the “rebels”. That disgusts me to no end.
This is just so bizarre!
Imagine if Twitter existed in WWII:
Hitler: Get ready b1tches! #Luftwaffe coming to England!
#Winston @Hitler: we shall fight on the beaches we shall fight on the landing grounds we shall fight in the fields and in the streets we shall fight (140 character count limit reached)
Not a very good analogy. It’s more like Churchill taunting Roosevelt in 1940. “Hey we’re fighting the Nazis, you’re not”
Putin is not bothered by P.C. and or collateral damage worries.
The man of the house has arrived to take care of business. Obama, quit flapping those purple lips of yours and go sit down with the other girls. Your clucking and speechifying don’t faze anyone anymore.
Yesterday Russia said it had conducted 18 sorties on 12 positions held by the IS terrorist group in Syria since Thursday.
I never dreamed in my entire 61 years that I’d be cheering Russian actions and condemning US actions.
My how the world has changed. And to be clear, it is the world, not me, that has changed.
Putin is not bothered by P.C. and or collateral damage worries.

I guess they will send the ISIS Air Farce into action.
“The attacks came as IS militants posted a tweet warning Death to Putin: We are coming with a picture of Moscow in flames. “
A) Worse has been threatened by better adversaries.
B) Russian winters are a b*tch, and the retreat march back is even worse.
C) The only time Moscow ever burned was by the Russians themselves.
You can cheer the Russians as we did in WW II against the Nazis or cheer the Kenyan-American as he dismantles the civilized world as the Progressive/Liberals cheered Joe Stalin after WW II.
I second your choice.
Yeah, that IS better!
Except President Trump might have to fight Putin BECAUSE of Obama and how he screwed up our country!
He needs to bring in that thermobaric rocket system.
Somehow, I don't think the Russians care what we think about their ROE.
They killed over a million Afghan civilians when they invaded Afghanistan. They would have kept killing if they had not pulled out when the Soviet Union started to collapse.
There is no reason to think they will treat ISIS or anybody else who gets in their way any differently, including us.
