I assume it reflects the political/ societal/ moral preferences of most of its readers.

As Mr. Limbaugh so astutely pointed out several weeks ago, it’s because the leftard elitists running all of the popular social media companies have selected the Times as their news source to force-feed into the brains of phone-addicted Millenial skulls-o-mush.
Does anyone under 30 actually BUY a newspaper? Think about it.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can use a good laugh from time to time and I enjoy fairy tales now and again.

The Slimes still defends the pulitzer prize awarded for Walter Duranty’s lies about how wonderful things were in the Ukraine while Stalin rules.
Nothing they do could make me think less of them.

True, love it or hate it each side has their “preferred” media organ(s) which when used establish a provenance as in “If the Times says it I believe it”

NYT has a lot of foreign details for close readers that nobody else has.
Occasionally, they tell the truth without meaning to.

The nyt has a long history of anti- semitism going back at least to ww 2. It’s disgusting. They have some good crossword puzzles and some pretty good culture coverage especially if you’re in NYC. that’s about it.

Don’t forget the NYT has about double the number of on-line subscribers as print ones, albeit at a much lower revenue level.
