The top of the Jose Marti Monument is visible behind the building. Later, Castro changed its name to Plaza de la Revolucion and moved his office there Paseo del Prado (Prado Promenade) Calle 23 toward the Malecon Look at how many public buses were available back then. Now, Cubans refer to buses as “aspirins,” because you can only take one every 6 hours The beautiful colonial buildings on San Lazaro street. They are.

I was in Cuba in 2000. Spent a week at Hotel National.

I will tell you that American tourists will not put up with the conditions as I saw them in the hotels. The Castro boys are going to have to spend some money to bring them “up to par”.

Oh,, and God help you if you get really sick. We toured a hospital and it was gag-inducing. (Havana)

that they have had to manufacture their own,thus dropping the

Excellent citizens too. The younger ones are more like the rest of American youth tho.

Cuba had its problems before Castro. How else could a homicidal nutcase with very few men sail in on a pleasure boat named Granma and conquer the country?
