obert Jeffress– of Mormonism is a cult fame— and other evangelical leaders recently met with Donald Trump and came away highly impressed...
We talked about everything from Kim Davis and religious liberty to the shutdown of the government for Planned Parenthood, to Russia, Syria, ISIS…I tell ya, anybody that was in that meeting would’ve left there, first of all, impressed by his great charisma, by his grasp of the issues, but also the fact that he’s in it to win it.
As to Trump’s perceived lack of religiosity– hey, at least he’s trying...
A lot of the evangelicals supporting Donald Trump aren’t expecting that he’s going to start holding Bible studies in the Oval Office…the fact that he makes an attempt at evangelicals and says that he likes them is probably good enough.
And he is trying.
For Trump, who recently told audiences that he rarely gets massages because “I don’t like people touching me”— having some guy’s hand all over his face could not have been easy...

Amen. I've been saying this for months. Trump may not be where God wants him to be but God is working on him. God is the Only One who gives the increase in the lives of people! "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." (1 Corinthians 3:6). Go Trump! I will continue to pray for him!
Trump may not be anything close to a Godly man, but he at least doesn’t actively hate God either. He is far from my favorite candidate, but he at least is a WYSIWYG type.
Personally the LAST thing I want leading this Country is a “Religious” man and I speak as an Ordained Minister on this subject. I am ordained in a Spiritual way, the “Church” as described by Christ in the New Testament.
Religions are not what God or the Lord intended, they are divisive in Dogma and separate us from God and each other with rules that God never intended to be
Donald may be a bit rough around the edges but God blesses him as he moves ahead in Faith

I’m an ordained minister of Christ also. Spiritually, I see God working through Trump like He did with Cyrus.
[As the two-hour meeting wrapped up, the pastors all laid hands on and prayed for Trump. Trump’s facial contortions during the prayer are the stuff of nightmares and magic.]
It appears THE DONALD was touched by the HOLY SPIRIT during that fateful meeting. Answered prayer.

It might have been a little disconcerting for Trump - there were Pentecostals praying for him, and the laying on of hands is probably foreign to a Presbyterian. But, he welcomed their prayers - and that says a lot about the man.
Not the only time I have seen Trump likened to a Cyrus situation. Technically pagan or close to it, in practice quite friendly to the people of God.

Powerful spiritual warfare goes on when a person humbles himself before the Lord and allows pastors to lay hands on him and intercede on his behalf.
Mebbe told him they were gonna rassle with the devil. Being WWE in background, Trump understood.

Maybe Trump is like Constantine. He was not Christian, but he saw a portent that he believed helped him win a battle, and so he turned the Roman empire into a Christian-friendly entity. It is unclear that he ever became a devout Christian himself, but his wife (or mother, I don’t recall) did. If Trump simply restores the faith to its proper place within our culture, that will have served God just as Constantine’s actions did.
