What new gun laws? We already have dozens of them.. Do we have drug laws? Yes Do human beings use drugs? Yes. Do we have laws against rape? Yes. Do humans still rape? Yes. You catching on yet Obama? Democrats? Laws only stop good people from making a mistake with their lives. Insane, evil dirtbags don’t care. They break laws. So what law would have stopped them? Stopped this evil dirtbag? NONE.
Politicians -- particularly Democrat politicians -- have an uncontrollable urge to "do something" even if that "something" will make the problem worse, as it generally does. Then that "something" is a stupid law that becomes impossible to get rid of, since politicians will never admit that they were wrong.
The problem is the Community Mental Health Act of 1963, and free-range crazy people that the politicians and lawyers have made it impossible to treat. With one notable exception (the Bath School disaster, 1927), all school massacres in US history occurred after the Community Mental Health Act of 1963 was passed.
