I am still hoping Trump will fade and that Cruz will get his shot at the top spot.
Hang in there Ted. If Trump falls all his support will be going to you. If he doesn’t fall he’s gonna need a good man for his VP.
I’m enjoying the Trump Show, and I’ll vote for him if he’s the nominee (after all, anybody could do a better job than the Dems who are running). That being said, Cruz is my man, and has been all along. I’m proud to have helped vote him into the senate. I’m ready for a one term, balls-to-the-wall Cruz presidency, followed by him being appointed chief justice of the supreme court in his early fifties (so that we have him there for many, many years).
I know this wont go over well with FR Cruz fans, but I have some real problems with him. He attempts to come across as the champion of the middle class, but I see him as nothing more than the champion of Ted Cruz. Here are some facts that give me pause for concern: 1. He is a Harvard educated Attorney. 2. His wife is a Goldman Sachs Analyst and 3. His biggest donors are Trial Lawyers. If that isn’t enough to question his motives, I don’t know what is.
“...if the real estate mogul drops out of the race.”
Cruz has been reluctant to criticize Trump and has often played up their policy similarities ... .
********
Cruz is correct not to participate in a candidate circular firing squad. His steady, here’s-what-I-would-do approach may well prevail.
Well, To this native Texan he is my first choice.
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz is close behind and is the second choice for more than a third of the mogul's supportersIOW, even if "the mogul" (as if that's a bad thing) drops out, he can't even win his own state.
I'd rather be tagged a mogul than a lawyer...but that's just me.
Cruz is 1st choice for this Texan
