Only if people who can’t get into LaneCC and to SWOCC and whatever they have in Grants Pass are bothering to make a long drive. Douglas County only has a 100,000 people, and the most western portion is a lot closer to SWOCC than it is to Umpqua (my Dad grew up in Reedsport and I grew up about 20 minutes south of Coos Bay). I’ve seen reports that put the number at 3,000 and change, which is believable. I think the reporter accidentally added a 1 in front of the actual figure and no one had time to proof read thoroughly.
