For months, the two have studiously avoided criticizing each other, rarely -- if ever -- mentioning the other by name.
But on Wednesday, Jeb Bush finally said the words: Marco Rubio. And he threw a few punches at his friend, longtime ally and Miami neighbor.
In a television interview, Bush framed himself as a leader, and Rubio as a follower.

This is funny.
The only two people I pay attention to are Trump and Cruz. For me, no one else matters.

There’s nothing I like more than to see GOPe candidate(s) launching “friendly fire” at other GOPe candidate(s). We like it, we like it...we want more of it!

If I had to choose between Bush or Rubio, it would easily be Rubio. But neither one of them is my first choice.
Donald Trump is the right man for the times we live in.

Ahh... but they DO matter. This kind of stunt is done to drive an opponent's negatives up. They don't help your positives. John Ellis Bush is trying to get Rubio from surging ahead, hoping he can recover in time for New Hampshire. It is a desperation play, the kind more expected of the Lindsey Grahams and Bobby Jindals of the race than of John Ellis of the large Treasury.
In short, Bush cannot have Rubio on the ballot with him in Florida. If Rubio goes up, or if both Rubio and John Ellis Bush go down, John Ellis Bush may be forced to withdraw before total humiliation and withdrawal of SuperPAC support.

True, but, with the two fighting, it looks like they’ll split the GOPe vote, allowing Trump to win.

I always looked forward to the midget rasslin’ undercard.

Same here. I could care less about Bush and Rubio. I won’t vote for them no matter what.
To: libstripper
Unless they’re fighting because the power brokers have decided only one of the two will be in the winner take all Florida primary.

Great observation IMO. Better yet would be for Rubio and Bush to both drop out. I would suspect that neither will do so though until the Florida primary.

More like two followers, though as a former governor, Bush may be a few steps ahead of Rubio.
