let me repeat. I didn’t say do x instead of y. I said no one really knows how they will react in those situations until it happens and blaming 18-21 year old kids for not automatically thinking like seasoned war veteran isn’t helping anyone. Heck even people in the military and law enforcment have been know to freeze.

I understand that. I get what you are trying to say. What I was trying to offer up is some plan. If colleges or business places actually trained for that problem, some people might react before lots of people are killed.

You notice after 9/11 when some nuts started acting up on airplanes and heading for the pilot cabin, they were tackled by other passengers who didn't want a repeat.
